  3. Descending and landing
    in a dry November
    amidst
    the mangrovy runways,
    they keep
    their time,
    regardless of
    rat holes,
    uneven slippery surfaces,
    and
    atmospheres of pollution.
    Mass takeoffs
    amidst
    graceful choreography
    uncomplaining
    about
    marshy reservations,
    food security,
    or section 144.

    So unlike our National carrier,
    delaying flight
    on existing runways,
    cheating
    on the ability to fly,
    and making
    so much noise
    about
    its own pickings,
    complaining about
    other birds
    in the Indian Sky.....

  7. I see a bit of color in those birds, Deepak, so they are getting a bit older. I am so glad you told me about that! I guess there must be enough algae to turn them all pink in due time.
